Unhappy Recipiant

I received an arrangement for Mother's Day and was very displeased. Unfortunately when my sons asked me how were the flowers I don't want to hurt their feelings. They are both students at college and pooled their money and I think some florists just throw anything together, assuming the persons ordering will not see the flowers and person receiving flowers will not say anything.The arrangement was not even on par with flowers 101, in a round basket but done as a one sided piece, had 4 RED carnations and the remainder was sparingly filled in with BRIGHT yellow, pink and white daisies, with 3 blue statis,GOLDENROD and greens. They asked for a natural bouquet, the only thing natural was the goldenrod which I'm allergic to. I'm returning the arrangement tomorrow, giving them the opportunity to do it over. I could have done better with 2 bouquets from the grocery store and arranged them in a JAR. Thank you, disappointed

I went in needing a sympathy bouquet but didn't know what I wanted. They made a bunch of recommendations based on my budget and I was so pleased with the final results. My friend really loved the arrangement too
