Description:

Bordering the ocean, Little Talbot Island State Park has five miles of ocean access, featuring sandy beaches and plenty of room for fishing, surfing and relaxation. The park also has scenic salt marshes and dunes, as well as dense maritime forests that surround its 40-spot campground and provide ample opportunity for wildlife viewing and outdoor recreation. The park is on the southern side of the barrier island north of Huguenot Memorial Park, about 26 miles by car from Jacksonville.

Open daily 8:00 a.m. - sundown.

Entry fee: Cars $4; Individuals $1. Overnight rates: Campsite $19.
